Offer

God's offer is the same for everyone: let me save you, make you new and unite you with me and my people. I give you the fulfillment of your life for all eternity.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on the cross for your sins. Only His shed blood can wash it away completely and remove separation from God. Turn back and repent! Confess your guilt to God and allow yourself to be absolved of it. God himself bore the punishment for you in his Son. The old can no longer accuse you. Jesus Christ saved you.

But God wants more. He longs for fellowship with you. And because he is holy, he wants to transform you accordingly. So that you don't fall back into the old ways, accept his further offer of renewal: Give yourself to him completely in gratitude, honestly and openly (he already knows everything about you anyway), without reservations and without restrictions. Trust him completely and let him give you gifts like a child. Ask God for his Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ promised that His Father would grant this request. Invite the Holy Spirit into every chamber of your heart, including your "darkroom", please don't exclude him anywhere! Trustfully hand over control of your life to God. He knows and wants the best for you. When the Holy Spirit comes upon and into you, you are gifted with the assurance that you are God's child. You recognize him as a loving and gracious father. You don't have to be afraid anymore when you do something. You can always ask him for forgiveness. The Holy Spirit will work on you if you let him. He changes you - towards good, towards God, towards people! You can deal with even your favorite sin all at once. You no longer go from defeat to defeat, but experience more and more victories. Your heart will be filled with genuine love for God and your fellow human beings. You can never achieve this through your own effort, but only with this promised “power from on high”. The Holy Spirit makes you new.

God only wants your unconditional “yes” to him, he takes care of everything else. It "costs" you everything, your old, self-determined life, but you gain faith, hope, love and your true destiny, namely eternal community with God and his people. Even in difficult times, trust that God truly has your best interests at heart because he loves you more than anyone else.

If you want to know more, contact believing Christians in your area (these people should be authentic and sincere, their life and behavior should correspond to their speech and confession, at least their effort to live as a child of God should be recognizable and be credible).
